Project Before and After
A fresh color scheme and new architectural details, including a redesigned fireplace with custom screen, make this formerly traditional living room updated and classically modern. Adding the doorway significantly improved the circulation and lighting of the house. The existing wood floor was darkened for contrast and drama and a new area rug now defines the light hearted mood of the room. The new chandelier, centrally located in the room emphasizes the 10� ceiling height and not only adds light but a bit of whimsy as well.
